Nathan and Laura first met at Saint Mary Magdalen Orthodox Church in 2023. After a year of friendship, they discovered that they each secretly had a crush on the other. This was great news, because they each thought the other was out of their league.

Even as friends, they bonded over their hopes to one day build a happy family and a happy home. Within one week of dating, Laura & Nathan said “I Love You.” During week two, Nathan brought up marriage, and within three months, wedding plans were being discussed. Nathan formally proposed on August 1, 2025.
